1. How should I care for my Pandora jewellery?

Your Pandora jewellery should be handled with care at all times. Please keep your Pandora jewellery out of reach of small children and babies.

All sterling silver will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph.

We recommend that you do not wear any jewellery whilst bathing, whilst in bed or during sporting activities.

14k Gold-plated jewellery will not tarnish, but over time, you will experience a slight dulling of the golden hue as the metals in the gold alloy react with the compounds in the air. Polish frequently with a soft polishing cloth to maintain the shine and avoid silver dips, polishing liquids, ultrasonic cleaning and strong chemicals.

2. How should I clean my Pandora jewellery?

To clean tarnish, gently scrub your jewellery with a soft toothbrush in diluted soapy water, or while using our cleaner set, we recommend to soak the jewellery for a maximum of 2 minutes. Dry thoroughly then buff with a jewellery polishing cloth. We recommend to use the white side of our polishing cloth for sterling silver and solid gold items, and the pink side of the cloth for plated items such as 14k rose gold-plated and white gold. This helps to remove the dirt and grit that may gather between the links of your bracelet causing wear and tear. A twice yearly professional clean will ensure that your jewellery always looks beautiful.
For leather: For daily cleaning, simply wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry cloth. Stains should be removed immediately before they soak in or dry – use a mild professional cleaner (without chemicals) or a mild soap such as soap flakes or saddle soap. Create suds in a bowl and apply the suds to a soft, lint-free cloth, then wipe the leather. Afterwards, wipe the leather with a dry cloth and add a leather conditioner to protect it further. Remember to keep leather out of direct sunlight.

3. Where are Pandora products made?

All Pandora Jewelry products are made in Thailand. For more information, please visit our craftsmanship page.

4. Why and how are Pandora products hallmarked?

Pandora jewellery is identified by a series of key markings known as hallmarks, which are legal requirements indicating the purity of the metal and the origin of the jewellery.

We have an O which is for our factory sign, ALE is our trademark, R and MET is for our Rose items, and S925 is for our Sterling Silver. These are standard hallmarking attributes on all our Pandora jewellery. We have recently started adding P2, which stands for Production 2. The P2 stamp is merely a production stamp from one of our facilities, and is present on items made there.
